About IPM-AT

IPMAT is an aptitude test conducted by IIM Indore for admission to its five-year course, IPM (Integrated Programme in Management). IPM is a dual degree programme (Bachelors + Masters) offered by IIM Indore for candidates passing the 12th standard. It is a programme which allows entry to an IIM just after 12th standard. In addition to IIM Indore, Nirma University also accepts IPMAT scores for admission to its BBA-MBA integrated programme. IIM Rohtak has also introduced its Integrated Programme in Management, and has a separate IPMAT for its admissions.


Candidates satisfying the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) of IIM Indore.

  • Minimum 60% in Std. X and Std. XII General and NC-OBC Category
  • Minimum 55% in Std. X and Std. XII SC,ST and PWD (DA) Category
  • Maximum age limit for General and NC-OBC Category is 20 years as on July 31 of the exam year
  • Maximum age limit for SC,ST and PWD (DA) category is 22 years as on July 31 of the exam year
  • Candidates who are likely to complete Std. XII or equivalent by the end of June 30 of the exam year can also apply

Important Facts

  • Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer
  • Question Type – Multiple choice question Mode - Online/Computer Based Number of Questions – 100 Duration – 2 hour

IPMAT Selection Procedure

Students are selected on the basis of overall performance in the Aptitude Test (AT),Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Select students from AT are shortlisted for next rounds (WAT & PI).
