IPMAT is an aptitude test conducted by IIM Indore for admission to its five-year course, IPM (Integrated Programme in Management). IPM is a dual degree programme (Bachelors + Masters) offered by IIM Indore for candidates passing the 12th standard. It is a programme which allows entry to an IIM just after 12th standard. In addition to IIM Indore, Nirma University also accepts IPMAT scores for admission to its BBA-MBA integrated programme. IIM Rohtak has also introduced its Integrated Programme in Management, and has a separate IPMAT for its admissions.
Candidates satisfying the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) of IIM Indore.
Numbers, Averages & Percentages, Roots, Indices, Surds, Simple &Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Algebraic Formulae, Linear & Quadratic Equations, Ratio & Proportion, Partnership, Mixtures & Alligations, Time, Speed & Distance, Work Related Problems, Pipes & Cisterns, Geometry: Lines, Angles & Triangles, Polygons, Circles & Mensuration, Permutations & Combinations, Probability, Determinants, Vectors, Integration and Differentiation.
Etymology & Roots, Idioms & Phrases, Analogies, Antonyms-Synonyms, Foreign Words Noun & Pronoun Errors, Subject-Verb Agreement, Prepositions and Conjunctions, Tenses, Modifiers & Parallelism, Reading Comprehension, Inference based passages Syllogisms, Logical Consistency, Deductive Reasoning.
Students are selected on the basis of overall performance in the Aptitude Test (AT),Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Select students from AT are shortlisted for next rounds (WAT & PI).
